Cox Hill
The King of Kananaskis Country Rides
Hang a left and continue to climb. This section of the ride is simply spectacular. Kananaskis scenery at its finest. Make sure you take the time to soak it in as these images along this ridge will stay with you for a lifetime.

Lunch is served. Pass the Grey Poupon...
|
After a quick little downhill it is time for one more bonus climb and then you are at the apex of the ride. Have a little snacky-poo, lower your seat, tighten your sphincter and get ready for 1000m of virtually uninterupted downhillin'...the next half hour or so of your life is what mountain biking is all about!
|
The downhill is a blur.
|
The thing that makes this downhill so special is that you get a little bit of everything as you lose elevation. High alpine switchbacks. Rolling single track. Rough creek beds. It goes on and on until you end up back at the Dawson staging area.
This ride is rough, tough and technical and should be on every Bike Bros. list of Kanananskis Classics.

Well deserved rest!

Who wants a bike shop job?
Are bicycles your passion? Do you watch pennies except when buying bike stuff? Maybe you're looking to "supplement" your income or your access to bike parts. I am looking for somebody(s) who would be fun to work with, loves bikes, knows bikes and wants to work at a bicycle shop. I'm looking for 3 key factors - honesty, personality, knowledge. I am very flexible for the right person. Oh yeah - you should probably live in or near Cochrane. Email me.
