Quirk Creek - Kicking Horse Loop cont.

Easy Climb - Great Downhill - Good Scenery

This ride starts by fording the Elbow River - for that reason alone don't try this ride alone and make sure that the water level is low enough. Common sense is key here - if you fall down and drop your bike...no happy ending.

Kananaskis cruisin'.

Once you make it across the river wring out your socks and try to pound some life back into your half frozen legs. Saddle up and look for a trail sign and off you go. Usually these are moderately well marked with orange trail triangles or equestrian signage. Although these are not totally obvious they are usually not obscured too badly either.

Big valleys and big views.

Ride right to the end of this trail and have a little resti-poo at the look out point. Interesting scenery feature and a good little vista for lunch.

Did someone make a lunch reservation?

Who wants a bike shop job?

Are bicycles your passion? Do you watch pennies except when buying bike stuff? Maybe you're looking to "supplement" your income or your access to bike parts. I am looking for somebody(s) who would be fun to work with, loves bikes, knows bikes and wants to work at a bicycle shop. I'm looking for 3 key factors - honesty, personality, knowledge. I am very flexible for the right person. Oh yeah - you should probably live in or near Cochrane. Email me.
