Quirk Creek - Kicking Horse Loop cont.

Easy Climb - Great Downhill - Good Scenery

A lot of this ride is relatively flat cruising in a wide valley. Pretty scenery and a great wide open feeling. Aside from the odd cow, you should have the place to yourself.

Pretty artsy pic, eh?

The downhill on this ride is fast, windy and fun. Another good intermediate ride for those riders venturing into Kananaskis for the first time and looking to build a foundation for harder test pieces like Cox Hill. If this were a ski run it would be a solid blue cruiser.

Trust us, the novelty of cows wears off fast.

Once the downhill spits you out you get to cross the Elbow again and then trace your steps back to your car, dry off and head home. Did we mention that a change of socks is a must on this ride? And if you drop your bike in the river and it gets swept away...you have our address.

Who wants a bike shop job?

Are bicycles your passion? Do you watch pennies except when buying bike stuff? Maybe you're looking to "supplement" your income or your access to bike parts. I am looking for somebody(s) who would be fun to work with, loves bikes, knows bikes and wants to work at a bicycle shop. I'm looking for 3 key factors - honesty, personality, knowledge. I am very flexible for the right person. Oh yeah - you should probably live in or near Cochrane. Email me.
