Terrace Trail - Kananaskis single track fun...Cont.

Twists, turns and bermed corners are the Plat du Jour on Terrace Trail. Experts will want to test their technical skills at as high of speed as possible. For less experienced riders a little more caution needs to be exercised. Worst thing about this trail is that it seems to end too soon.

Sinkers and floaters - MXC's gift to the world.
The creek crossing let's you play your own version of "sinkers and floaters."

This was Mike's first time on single track and he reported that he did experience a little apprehension going around corners quickly without knowing what is coming up next. We told him to just flow with the go and soon his biggest technical issue was riding with such a huge grin on his face (Editor's note: huge grins often mean bugs get in your teeth and this tends to slow one down).

It's time to kick it '80s style - Hammer Time anyone?
Mount Wedge dominates the skyline.

After about two hours, we rolled back into Kananaskis Lodge and onto the patio at Woody's. Soon we were tipping a few cold ones and planning the next adventure.

Lookin' studly and kick-stand free...
Look - a sheila named Sheila...very rare.

All in all a great time was had by all. And if anyone needs a slightly-used kickstand, drop us a line.

Editor's note: For the record, it should be noted that Mike is a former season ticket holder for the Saskatchewan Rough Riders and a die-hard Flames fan. Also for the record, he never refers to girls as 'sheilas' but it's always best not to let the truth get in the way of good copy.
An Aussie back in the comfort of his natural habitat. Once we get him off Foster's and onto Big Rock, the Canadianization process will be complete.
